Dear Members and Friends,
On Saturday August 20th, nine (9) JAMPACT members gathered at Transcontinental Express Shippers in Queens, for the packing of supplies donated during our Annual School Supplies and Toy drive.
Due to your generosity and genuine care about the children in our Adopt-A-School Program, we grossed 6 barrels and 5 boxes of supplies and toys. Items collected included backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, coloring books, learning charts, chalk, first aid kits, story books, markers, scissors, glue, construction paper, computers, among other items. These supplies will be shipped to Kingston, and distributed among all four (4) schools in our program - Coles, Crescent Road, Maxfield Park Children's Home and St. Steven's Basic Schools. In addition, we have donated computers to two schools - St. Paul's Basic School and Ideal Enhancement Centre, which have reached out to us for assistance.

Special thanks to our board members and members who came out and lent their joint efforts which contributed to a seamless packing process. The success of this initiative is because of your dedication and because we all want to ensure that our children have the necessary learning resources to be successful.
We also thank our sponsors for their support - Transcontinental Express Shippers, Irie Jam Media Group, Jamaicans.com, ZyncTV, Laten's Place restaurant, and G's Home Style Cooking.
Once again, we thank our members, families, friends, strangers, and just about everyone who donated to the educational needs of our children.
